OK.. maybe not, but I am going to be an extra in a Disney/Touchstone TV pilot for ABC called "The Service" that is filming next week in DC.
They cast me as a Secret Service Agent (which i think i will be on cam a lot)... I will be protecting a senator who has an assasination attempt on his life at a football game... (sorry to ruin the plot.. lol)
I don't know too much about it until next wednesday and I also don't know what stars will really be in it.. but i am hopin for someone cool.
I guess since i am unemployed and doing nothing this seemed like a good alternative... oh, and it is paid, minimum wage, but its paid.
I am kinda excited. Maybe this is my BIG BREAK!!

bad news. my friend and i were professional extras for a year, anf you will be lucky to see your face at all. i f you are really lucky, you might see it for 2 seconds.
all of these people that i met doing it moved to LA from someplace else, thinking that they can get a big break from a background acting job, it will almost never happen.
on teh bright side, it is really easy ad they always fed you well.TR1

good thing i am only doing this for fun... not expecting anything.. but the role is one of the Agents protecting the senator... so, who knows... just something to do instead of sitting on my broke ass

Nice one slinky. I was famous once I was in an advert for a bank here in the UK and i tellya being famous is not all it's cracked up to be. I just got slagged off by my mates and I screamed at the tv everytime I saw it. Thank god the campaign is over now!!!! :)

minimum wage? i was just an extra in a crowd on a movie called "the babe" ( a john goodman flick that bombed big time) and i got paid 600$ for less than a weeks work! you're getting ripped dude!
