Are you serious? Dude, even your webpage has these: { } ....... Does your keyboard have a shift key? What about a bracket key? Do you have a keyboard?

they should be on your keyboard to the right of the 'p' if you're using an english keyboard. shift+[ = {

hmm, nope.. can't figure it out.. it's gone.. i have a norwegian keyboard wireless mac by the way, but nope.. no brackets or what you called it..

how does bold text look weird on a mac? what browser are you using? the default font should be verdana, and it looks great in bold.

in the right of the 'p' there is æøå .. do you have those? hehe..

Olem, in your Applications folder, there is a folder called Utilities. Open that and find the program Key Caps. I switched my mac keyboard to Norwegian and discovered that option+shift+8 creates {, and options+shift+9 creates }

That bold text looks fine to me. What's wrong with it??
OS X has built-in antialiasing on text, so any text you look at on Safari is smoothed. maybe that's why your bold text looks strange to you. It looks strange to ME on a PC because none of the text is smoothed.

hmm, that may be it.. i'm not used to it.. well, i'm sure i will get used to it.. ;)
and by the way;
{} <- no pasting.. thanks 50! ;) grrrreat!

yeah, its a safari thing man. open up newstoday in your windows explorer app and it will look normal
- olem0
hmm, tried that.. doesn't look like it did on my pc.. but i'm not shure that is a bad thing.. maybe i'll just have to convert to mac - for real! ;)

"Normal" to Mac users is seeing anti-aliased fonts on screen. smoothed text is aesthetically more pleasing and is easier to read. It looks weird to me when i see rough, unsmoothed text on a PC.
Olem, glad I could be of help. Remember, if you have any other questions about your keyboard, launch the Key Caps app in the Utilities folder, it'll map out all the buttons on your keyboard for you. If you hold shift, command, or option, then the keyboard on screen will change so you can find any keys you need.

great man, figured out a lot of things in there that i had been wondering about! ;) thanks again, truly appreciate it!

dude seriously it's SUPPOSED to look like that. there's nothing wrong. hasn't anyone heard of anti-aliasing?

But duuudddeee seriously, his doesn't look right. Mine does, his doesn't, compare and contrast and you will see the difference.

Play about with your settings for font smoothing in System Preferences > Appearance. (OS X)

hmm, well..
i have tried that - nothing is changed.. hmm.. well, so i'm not totally crazy? it's not just me? hmm, well.. it looks weird in firefox and ie too.. awwwhhh..
