The BBC site and the IHT sites are two of the best websites around.

They all look the same to me- unstandard WHITE and bloated...
What is so pretty about a bunch of white tabs with text in it-

Jevad, out of curiosity, why do you hate the NYTimes so?
Just wondering as I ponder the decay of US journalism via FOX-ification...

kbags - Simply because they are one of the only big news sites to demand you register with them before you can visit teh site. Well fuck off - I don't want to! Why would I bother when iht.com. bbcnews.com and reuters don't need me too?
Simple as that really - I just find it rude.

i find it amazing how the IHT uses the typical print-layout theory of MullerBrockmann... i am still figuring out how they spread the dynamically loaded text (i presume?) into separate columns, whereas the text neatly shifts when the textsize is adapted. even the 'nextpage'button and page-indicator adjust when needed.. this shit is genius!!
i love it.
thx for reminding me of this site again!
