only just realised the HIGH quality in Flash isn't actually the highest quality..
BEST is the 'best' quality.. but HIGH is default..
Hmm..
Anyone ever use BEST quality..??

only for still stuff or fine type

I tried it o a movie of mine.. and for the life of me, I could not see any difference...
But I''m on a laptop in a dimly lit room.. can you actually see a difference in quality? and if so.. is it in the text rendering.. the anti-aliasing.. I was hoping that would be the case but can't really see any improvement..

"HIGH"
High quality (default). Vectors are highly antialiased using a 4 x 4 pixel grid. Bitmaps are antialiased when no animation is occurring."BEST"
Best quality. Vectors are highly antialiased using a 4 x 4 pixel grid. Bitmaps are always antialiased.Lower rendering quality means that fewer calculations are required to draw a frame of the movie, resulting in faster performance.

so.. if you don't use bitmaps.. there's no difference between HIGH and BEST...
(To sum up)Thanks for the info.. :-)
