Café 'Apero' on the oude markt is a nice place.
On thursdays visit 'Silo' (vaartkom) or 'Rumba' (oude markt).
It's been a long time since I been there but those places were definately hot back then.

My trainee post (stage plaats) is there and I must have something to do at night/evening.
All the tips are welcome!

I'm Living in Leuven and the Rumba and the Silo are still very hot indeed. Check http://www.rumba.be

café apéro : i like this name
do u guys know what it means in french ?
apéro is a big thing in the south, it's like . i don't know : a ritual. ..
wether it's in the morning (around 11/11;30 or after work (7/8 pm) it's a drink before to eat.. but it's often much more than a drink, when you make an 'apero' at home it's most of the time an invitation to spend a good evening with your mates, drink etc..
in the summer 'l'apéro' can take off at 11am in the morning and finish at 2 in the afternoon before to eat .. it's often a drink with some olives, cheese etc etc..i love it
