What's your pick for the "one that got away" from film and Oscar awards history?
Personally, I would have to choose SpaceCamp. The robot Jinx delivered the first truly magnificent performance by a robot in all of film, and was undoubtedly a predecessor to the stunning roles by other robots designed to look like Haley Joel Osmont and Jude Law in the blockbuster film AI.

Danny Elfman deserved the Oscar tonight, not Howard Shore. Shore has been great....the last 2 years. Elfman proved this year that he has depth and versatility and texture.

It's not a very good way to behave. I really don't have anything constructive to say about it, i just know how it makes me feel, and it makes me feel like running a chainsaw through the lot of them.

I am glad Charlize Theron got some respect for her roll in Monster. Excellent peace of acting.
DAM i did not Evan relies it was her for the first 10-min of the film.

Danny Elfman has consistently been the most experimental, unique and authentic cinematic composers of our time, for him to also be consistently overlooked isn't so much of a shame, when you really think about what songs and films get nominated in the first place...
I mean "my one Ain true love?" What the hell is an "ain"
But really Elfman is mad cool, Oingo Boing rocks too!
