I'd par down the font selection some. I'm counting around 6 used either in the header, section titles, or just regular ol' text.
Like the general feel much.

I agree with fate. plus there's no reason for the popup. I like the two tones, one for the sidebar one for the main column but why the third tone for the register section? I don't think the underline graphic thing in each header works, or fits with the rest. the login + regisration could be more compact, tie it into the pixel font above. I think you need to tie everything together more style wise, you're all over the place. btw, that logo freaks me out - looks like a pro life poster. toss the creative resource font choice.
and why add the .net to motherfish in the logo. do we still do that? zB is newstoday - newstoday.com anywhere on this page?
