lives in a huge crib in hollywood and drives a customized porsche
and his friends all live in huge cribs, all concept artist aswell
It was almost like cribs minus the braggin' with better art paintings on their walls

I made the bulk of my fortune as a Hollywood concept artist. I now live in a charming Hamlet in Maine. Every now and then George will call me up and ask me to draw some futuristic clothing for Jar Jar or some nonsense. I will return his call a few days later and viola, I have made 300k for doodling in a cafe.
I have grown tired of doodling for Hollywood pricks, and will soon return to my first love...synthesized music.

I make plenty now! But it takes more than talent and love, like any job, it takes will and knowing how to promote yourself, it's like a real-time strategy game I tell ya.
Anyway, I'm the best there is, and I met alot of good ones, but you can be crappy too. Like anything, it's a mix of love, willpower and playing the game.

can i get to a point i just shit on a canvas (pardon my language it is the wine) hang out with the good bunch in galleries, confuse a few critics and show remarkable motoristic physical movements and mental behaviour and sell this shit-on-canvas for say... about 20k?

there is money in design.. but the bottom line is most designers just don't know how to get it.. (it is not easy)

Nothing wrong with wanting a fast car and a big house, i'm sure you can get it through design if you really want, would be tricky though, very saturated market, concept art gig i imagine is in a similar situation though, as for me Y'know I'm thinking of opening my own business, It's my dream. Hi-Fi Stereo Equipment at a discount price -- it's called "Buck's Super Stereo World."
