If you get a chance rock St. Marks Pl, it's on 3rd avenue and 8th street
Then Walk on down, there's a place called crif's dogs where you can score $2 bud in cans and an assortment of hot dogs
you'll see it because there's a big hotdog sign that looks like a huge floatin woody

And then the Absolute best pizza in NYC can be found at Big Apple Pizza.... 23rd street and Park ....
it is a small pizza place that i've been going to since college (1992)

I lived in NYC for over 4 years. My fav was Two Boots. Kinda Cajun style pizzeria, but that one near or under the Brooklyn Bridge is supposed to be grande. Top hot dog joint for me was Nathan's, which you can find all over.
