"We are all just nodes withing the intricate and complex architecture of social manipulation and advertising..."
Speak for yourself mate. I personally like to try not to be. Sometimes I fail - most of the time I'm right on. Punk rock.
- mrdobolina0
I agree with Jevad.

Yeah! What he said.

no he's right, we are just that. And the cover is about how people cried when they saw 'The Passion of Christ' and that they were changed forever.

"And how well trained you are...starting a thread based on your emotion, based on the reaction you had to the cover of the NY Post. Viral Marketing could not be taught better than that."
Okay, for real, I want people to stop talking about viral marketing as if it is a new concept that is the result of business training. Let's all just admit that it is just a term WE use to convince clients that our ideas are fresh.
"Viral Marketing" is simply creating word of mouth and has been around since the dawn of time. Should we not talk about ideas anymore just because they were originated from a media outlet or from the Evil Corporatocracy? Yes, let's not discuss anything anymore because we're actually spreading viral marketing plans.
Let's not talk about how an Anti-Gay Marriage Amendment is discrimination because we read about it in the papers, which are owned by conglomerates like Knight Ridder.
Is the general consensus that if an idea you don't agree with is talked about, then it is viral marketing originating from the government or a corporation? This IS a conspiracy to take away the rights of others, yes, because the country where live has done that since its inception. But if this were truly viral marketing, it would be poorly planned because it has the effect of people like us doing something against it, namely, discussing why it is wrong.
If we don't talk about it, how will it change? So cut it out with the conspiracy theory viral marketing junk. It's not helping.

I'm going to see the movie. Not because I believe in the bible version of god or jesus christ (I don't), but because I am a fan of movies, and the cinematography is supposed to be amazing.
- lowimpakt0
nice plug at the end of a sensible rant.
- MR_T0
"...conglomerates like Knight Ridder...."

Quote: "'Mel Gibson has lost it,' and I was reminded of what other writers have pointed out—that Gibson, as an actor, has been beaten, mashed, and disembowelled in many of his movies. His obsession with pain, disguised by religious feelings, has now reached a frightening apotheosis."

rob from wideye, what is the deal with 'signing' your posts?
rick from milwaukee
- lowimpakt0
everything is a gay marriage rant with you, man.
- wideye0
Well, again, I do live in America, don't I? I am trying to make money so that I can get the hell out of here, eventually, so that means marketing, marketing, marketing...let's talk about it some more so that my evil plan comes to fruition (maniacal laughter).
