I think IE on a pc has a pref to automatically resize jpegs to fit the browser, sorry can't check i'm on a mac

shes probably on IE6 or maybe its xp only, Im not sure. I think its a setting called 'smart' image dithering/sizing that she can turn off in the browser options.
sorry kind of vague but I have seen it before and its no biggie for her to sort out. I could check at home but not until this evening

if you put them in an html page it will then not do it :)

yeah..
under internet options --> advanced on IE6
Scroll down to Multimedia
then uncheck 'smart image dithering'Or she can hover over the image at the righthand bottom side and a button will appear that will make the image appear as it should ie 100%

This will remove the tooltip buttons that display when hovering over the image in a page.
