Safer than paying for a meal in a restaurant by credit card..
I ain't had no problems and I been buying stuff online for ages.. In fact the only problem I have ever had with CC fraud is after using my card in some department stores here in KL..

it's safe at amazon.
why wouldn't it be? cons artists? should be fine.. even on ebay, unless it seems kinda fishy, you should be fine.am i missing something?

if you dont trust amazon, there is always http://www.barnesandnoble.com/
either of them are more secure then using a CC for ordering pizza.

Been shopping online now for nearly 5 years and had no problems at all.

It's very safe. I'm always buying books, cds, or dvds from Amazon.
Plus, most credit cards these days will reimburse you if anything shows up on your statement that you didn't buy.
I even bought my iPod from Amazon. They've got very good prices, plus a lot of their stuff has free shipping.
Now I'm starting to sound like I work for them.
