i am moving to berlin on friday, and wondered if people could send me some advice on the city or just send some words of things going on (besides the tourist traps)

really cheap but fantastic place.
That one in Friedrichshain it's in a wonderfull quarter full of vintage shops and good bars.
Berlin's people are very friendly
and girls so beautifull ù_ùyou should take a look to one place like sqoot called Maria....Maria something, where you will can listen some good live music...
...go skate(boarding) near the modern art moseum (bench, handrails, stairs, amazing locals, etc. etc )
...i LOvE Berlin.

11 months of cold drizzle a year? and you live there for 5 yrs? really? man, you had back luck then. i live here for 2 yrs now and it's way better than amsterdam (climate wise).

I wasn't there for a tan ding dong. whats bad luck about it? fuckin amsterdam has the worse weather in europe. (more rain than even london.)

well. thing is. i don't notice 11 months of drizzle here. actually. it doesn't rain that much here. so that's why i wondered. since i experience berlin differently and you had 11 months per year of drizzle. that's why i mentioned bad luck.
