I believe this story, GW's two wild cards for the election are putting a man on the moon and capturing Spin Laden. They'll most likely wait to extract him until right before the election.

And who cares how long elections take in Iraq? It's never been a democracy before and the Shias are only calling for it so they can turn Iraq into a theocracy.

Wouldn't be surprised if they pull him out wearing a "Bush '04" T-shirt... We joked about that after a friend speculated that they might already have him and were just waiting for the opportune moment to bring him out (i.e. the elections)

if they can get him, (or indeed, if they allready DO have him as some have pondered) it'll be announced around 2 weeks before the election...not before..
2 weeks is just enough time to drum up a lot of hoopla about how dubya is such a great wartime pres, and not enough time for the dems to explain to the populace that the whole thing is a scam...2 weeks before election, expect one hell of an annoucement
