I am on my 7th month here. I always wanted to live in New York, and before I moved I was terrified, the money, the size of my apartment, etc etc.
I found it to be the most terrifying and wondeful place I have ever been, every neighborhood is its own world, and i have ran into more people that i have met through my life just on the street.
This time in my life is going to be a great story for the grandkids....

everyone becomes a new yorker once you live there - whether its from Belgium or Nova Fockin Scotia - it happens pretty quickly. (or they pretend to be, there's a lot of posers if you ask me. designers fags trying to be down and shit or worse yet, trying to be prols.) but its all everyone from fuck all everywhere - thus its charm.
except people from Australia, there nobs for the most part and they remain pretty much nobs. nothing, can be done.
(just kiddin.)

it always trips me out when people talk about being vibed by the idea of NYC.
no one should fear it. sure it costs more than shittown USA, but you have to pay to play.
best city on the planet. can't wait till grad school ends because i am moving right back.
