I stumble easy - especially when people you could learn from are pricks and not willing to work with you or help you - their genius is for them... and them only...

you don't have to kiss ass to show there - you just have to know some of the people who live there - a couple of them are good friends. If you got something to show - let me know - I'll set you up (if they like it - and they usually do).

it might come from the macho commercially driven agency environment where no one can justify spending cash on design unless the designer has the aggressive personality to convince them or at least bully them into believing. not all design environments are like that tho

ever find yourself wanting to learn everything? just been on a 4 day course where they showed us round all the studios and we got to make a radio programme, tv show, generate and pitch programme ideas to a controller... now i'm wondering how to become a camera operator, vision mixer, editor... (as well as iTV design of course!) so much to learn in life and it's so much fun :)
