saved me from a 3 hour conversation last night. SOMEHOW i always get cornered by this girl... she's cute and nice but dumber than a pack of pre chewed bubble gum. Its kind of hard for me to just walk away from people like that... cos she's not an asshole.. she's just retarded.
She's the kind of person who would start talking and then suddenly trail off into something that made no sense... and then giggle once she's throughly confused herself.
anyway....
so she goes on telling me how she's going to school now and studying graphic arts.. and she's saying "I don't know if i like it yet.... i mean.. you make a couple of clicks and all of the sudden you've got something beautiful in 5 minutes. I don't call that a challenge"
wow... i just looked at her like "are you serious" 5 minutes? i wish.
i tried to explain that she's just leaning photoshop and illustrator.. and there's so many amazing things you can do with it. many things can take days... weeks even.. before a piece can be finished. I tried to point out similarities to painting (a process she's more familiar with).. she still didn't get it.
being creative and all.. you would think it wouldn't be hard to dream up a bunch of awesome jobs you'd like to have after you graduate. she had no clue.
it was the most frustrating conversation I've ever had. Don't really think she walked away with anything. I really wanna grab her by the shoulders and shaker her while screaming... QUIT NOW QUIT NOW YOU'RE GOING TO FAIL MISERABLY.
