every month magazines get more and more difficult to deal with, some dont accept quark anymore, some only accept preflighted pdf's and now this:
"The full page advert is fine
to use. Unfortunate we can not accept quark document because when supplying quark documents you must supply your fonts. It is illegal for you to supply your fonts and illegal for us to accept them. To avoid this you need to supply a Photoshop eps as this is an encapsulated file and therefore

That does sound slightly bonkers cause everything will be slightly feathered. Most Font licences allowance for outputing work. Bonkers.

thing is I have an ad on one page and the other page is an advertorial hence the quark file, so it like loads of 9pt type, and they want a photoshop file??

Your generally dealing with people who don't have a scooby doo what the're talking about, who have been told by production, who get pissed off because they have to re-format your work, I get it alot of the time, It's annoying, but this is more annoying...
I was doing a job for one of our clients who are iwithin our company in another department and he asked me for a PDF, I sent him the PDF and he then just printed it out, and brought it across with amends on it! I mean it would have been easier for us both if I just printed him out a copy[knobber]
