my eyes are broken and my brain hurts. lots of blurry pixel font stuff too. other than that, errr, no plusses actually.
- JamesEngage0
i like it... obviously has made something out of little content...
and the blurry fonts is an easy fix... nad shouldn't get in the way of judging the work

Don't want to appear 'me too'...but I really like it aswell.
I am on a poor mac here..and it runs really well on such a poor system spec.

I think it sucks, I have no idea what to click on and I lost patience.
Stupid.

yea the build stuff is an acquired taste maybe. what at first seems text-heavy and chaotic is really so nicely ordered and crafted.
- MR_T0
you're right...for such a small ammount of content, the detail is impressive.

i like it, but not from a usability stand point. i'm with pixel, it was so confusing and unclear right at the beginning that once i figured out the flow i lost interest.
i've always liked the build/tdr style...but, i'm too much of a standards zealot to truely enjoy the site.
:)

I didn't even get to the work, kept clicking forward back in the folio section and nothing appeared. I like the tdr/build stuff too because it's different but that is just too extreme, no obvious hierarchy and useless information overload. Think it looks dated now too.

does a standards zealot enjoy anthing?
- JamesEngage0
...anything
- sparker0
yea. there is plenty to enjoy in the compliant, accessible world.
- JamesEngage0
: D

your site is quite accessible, sparker. ;)

i think a true "standards zealot" could--and prob. does--see how the order in the inferno site and how it presents information is similar to the order/consistency css and starndards puts forth..but the bold style deviates so much from css in all its subtleties that the parallel is overs

overshadowed.

It would be better without the technical issues - screenshot images not loading up cos there's a backslash instead of a forward slash in their URLs, those blurring pixel fonts and text scrollers you have to click for each new line.
Hardy user-friendly stuff is it?
- JamesEngage0
It suits the audience.. problem/puzzle solving

I like games like that but I don't like websites which are supposed to, but fail to, present clearly the (more important) content.
Anyway, you (james) referred to the site navi as a 'problem' which couldn't have been in the brief could it?
- JamesEngage0
i don't know... i didn;t get to read it.
