this is common when using certain doctypes and middle age gecko browsers.
you need to treat img's as block instead of inline. this will solve the problem.
try using:
td img {display: block;}

ohh...so I use css to get rid of it...thanks :)

what were you using before?

hmm....either I'm doing somethign wrong or it dont work?

it was just plain html

do you have a doctype? that can cause problems...
tables are not for layout, and if you're using the wrong doctype with your markup, then it could be changing the display of the images.
do you have a link?

hahaha...nutcups.
:)
- Skylark0
let me put it out on a link...
he he..yeah...nutcups is one of the crazy ideas my boss have..

you are using xhtml1-transitional, mate with outdated, non-compliant markup.
you need to remove the xml declorations and the doctype. or author the page in valid xhtml1-transitional.

ok....well, it is my boss idea to use that....

but it is useless if the page is built with bad markup.
your boss needs to learn what standards are, then.
you can't use the doctype if the code is correct.
it is triggering quirks mode in nn6, because of the way xhtml1 images render.
images are inline, unless specified otherwise. meaning, they take into conisderation the "lower" segment or baseline of text...you know, for "j, g, q..."
you get the idea.
