Whatever happened to that font... used to used everywhere... especially when I was at college.

I remember those days... it's still in my font list though.
Best use of it ever was as Factory Records logo just before they folded!

Any font handled correctly and used appropriatley has the ability to retain beauty...
...except
comic sans
hobo...and other decorative fonts of course.This thread may come come back to haunt you when it all becomes en vouge again.

With all the sausage fonts I see used by reputable designers, I wonder how one could thing that rotis is passe and ugly?
Rotis is alive and well, infact. I'm using it (rotis sans) on an annual report right now. It works perfectly.
But to further validate it's beauty and utility - see Baseline Magazine - which uses Rotis extensively.
