My mousearrow just keeps freezing, and nothing works anymore?
Tried Norton and the Doc say its all OK, also ran Virex and nothing there eigther.
Anybody knows what it could be?
Im with G4 (MacOs 9.2)

delete mouse preferences from your system folder and restart.

When the mouse freezes can you still navigate with the keyboard, or nothing work at all? Maybe there's a dodgy connection somewhere.
Or it might be the prefs, chuck out your keyboard and mouse prefs and restart.

Thanks, but the problem remains the same. I can hear the puter working, like its searching for something when it gets stuck.

have you tried swapping your mouse with someone elses and then restarting?

can you navigate around with your keys when the cursor freezes? or does your mac freeze up? did you try a new mouse/keyboard? if you've tried a new mouse/keyboard (and the old one in various usb ports), sounds like you need to do a software restore.
p.s G4 mouses (mice?) are utter shite.

No i cant navigate with keys, I did swap around mouse and keyboard. And i have an even more fucked mouse (macAlley)
