Looks good! The background is kinda blurry though, and doesn't really make me wanna eat their bread. I say skip it and put a simple color there instead.
Also, "Bread and Butter Jobs’ philosophy and ongoing mission is ..." written in white is hard to read. Maybe darken it a little?
Other than that, rockin!

I don't like the fact it lives in a little window. Other than that I like it.
Oh, and the buttons were a bit hard to find too. I went to click on the slices of bread.

i know what you are trying to achieve, but i think something needs strengthening in the colours.
it looks like its was a white website that has been wiped with a wet teabag.
brown bread = dead
maybe introduce SOME stronger colours?

I agree it is a bit teabagged, it crossed my mind too, but the site is precariously balanced and any wrong moves with colour could easily tip it in the in the poo direction.

I clicked on the bread too... not sure if it is supposed to be looking toasted or not? as it looks like white bread getting toasted and not gradations of brown bread... or something... oh I dunno!

the bread is blurry because jpgs are so optimized, textures like that weight an absolute bomb even at 40%.
Its weird that.

Also the brown on brown (oo-er) text is a bit tricky to read.

I think the inclusion of the arcade games is hackneyed and pointless.
But i like the image you've used on the fun page. I reckon you could have followed this style through the whole site.
I think the use of the bread and the brown is just too obvious and overdoing the point. BROWN BREAD JOBS, DO YOU GET IT? DO YOU?

No, not the main menu (although i find that a bit hard to see), in the actual window, where the job information is.

If I had a second chance I would design it again using exaclty the same format and the same graphics but in juicy friut colours. Reds and blues. Sort of Andy Warholish.

nothing to do with the site and I'm sure nothing to do with you but the name 'bread and butter jobs' sounds a bit demeaning to me, I'm not sure that I'd want a 'bread and butter' job... Doesn't sound very aspirational... if you see what I mean.
