help with a cookie...

  ok fellas...

  i've got yet another request for help writing a cookie (in javascript....blegh). there's an ad on the newspaper that i work for's website at http://www.amarillo.com that comes down. it's real annoying to everyone so i need to cookie it so that it only comes up say once every hour for the user. can anyone help me with this? i absolutely suck at writing cookies.
