Never heard of the brand. Do you have one?
- Donvitoviti0
Acctually Sager is the company that builds Alienware.
Sager Computers are pretty much like buying direct form the manufacurer without all the alienware crap.
If you want this computer the best place to get it is at http://www.powernotebooks.com
they will have it for sale next month. They have the best prices and the best support also.
But yes.. these are really nice computers.

Im all over this one: http://reviews.cnet.com/HP_Pavil…
praised by all, best in show. Never really liked HP products but that ones a winner.

check the real specs man... that HP is way crappier
GeForce FX Go 5600 GPU with 8X AGP (up to 128MB)
bah .. only has the 5400 rpm HD
no svideo in.
1.5 pounds heavier.. bah
dude.. check the real specs... not the presentation.
This sager blows that away.
- Donvitoviti0
hp has no built in webcam,, doesnt have 6 channel
No remote.
the sager has a subwoofer acctually.
do you want me to go on.
I am not saying the HP is bad, you just can have a whole lot more for the same price and it is a very nice computer. and that company is top notch who sells them

AN ORC ATTACKS YOU.
YOU MISS AN ORC.
A ORC MISSED YOU.

Hehe I hope that HP can run photoshop ok..
I do wish it came with a 7200rpm Hd tho. but the rest of the spec is perfect for what I need it for.
- Donvitoviti0
ha.. ya man.... it will run photoshop just fine.
Just make sure you get the 128 video card with that. if you go with it. (I would still personally hold out for the Sager) lol

Yeah.. powerbook.. Like the one that completly died on me when I upgraded to Jaguar? I'll think about it.
- tripleflux0
that looks sweet. how many fans do they have on that thing?
- Donvitoviti0
that thing prob will have like around 2500 fans..
lol
no clue.. most of the bigger ones have 2 fans.
The current version of this has a nice cooling fan system located on the bottem of the laptop...
- tfs__mag0
whoa... 17inches and a silver case?
wonder where the geniuses at hp came up with that.
- Donvitoviti0
your mom
- tfs__mag0
how'd you know my mom designed computers?
- Donvitoviti0
cuz its big wide, and well used
- adrian0
friend of mine got this: http://www.powernotebooks.com/pr…
I'm jealous. The pentium M chip blazes and means there's not much of need for full size chip and heat sink in a laptop (like sager, also available at powernotebooks). ATI vid card, metal case, beautiful screen. Don't mean to start mac/pc flame wars, but we looked at powerbook too but specs aren't even close.
powernotebooks.com is good people.

Are all the Sager models plastic?
