you might be able to tweak this one at FlashRoom: http://www.flashroom.com/show.ph…

james, find out who their webhost is and go to their site. they should have a developers section that tells you what email component they are using aspmail is popular. they should also include examples of how to set it up. it should look something like this:
[%
set e = server.createobject("Persits.Mai...e.From="me"
e.Subject="info"
e.MessageBody="blah"
e.Send()
%]

aaagghh!!!!! Any idea what I'm doing wrong... the form in flash is nested in various movieclips so it's not in the root... but the input text boxes variables are root variables... is this the write way to submit them from the form?
loadVariables("aspflashemail.asp... _root, "POST");

Does anyone else find it infuriating that when you enter a variable name for a piece of text and then do CTRL-S to save the file... it reverts back to what it was before!!!!

you could just put all your submit code in a javascript function and call the fscommand function in as passing any data (ie. subject, body, etc) to it.

I want to get feedback on if it has gone or not... as simply as possible.... Friday afternoons for ya!
