The first thing i did when i got the getaway was go to my works office.
i spend all fuckin day there then the first thing i do is go to a virtual rendering of it.
i am a sad bastard.

The Getaway's brilliant! You finished it? Been to the house in Hyde Park? You'll find the souped-up Mistubishi, Lotus Elise and the go-kart there! (and more!) Excellent fun!

Yeah.. well, no. I didn't finish it.
I was very much into just walking around London putting my arm around poor pedestrians' necks and hold a gun to their head for awhile, but I got bored of that since I couldn't let go of them without having to shoot them.
See, I like to just wander around. Not very fond of missions in general. Haha.

I hate how bad the guy you're playing handles his body movements. When you just want a quick turn he runs around in circles for 12 seconds.
London is mad cool though, very nicely done.

Shame Rockstar didn't do The Getaway, the enviroment is cool but the gameplay sucks, too linear, too buggy, no side-games.

i hated it when the hazard lights came on but you had no idea where to go with the police fucking shooting at you or the yardies chasing you..

i hate the fact that you have no idea where you are - it's missing a map in the game! The one that comes with the box is worthless, since the starting point isn't marked on it. Stoopid!

oh and if you went round the police station a certain way it was IMPOSSIBLE to kill the fat knacker cop cheif.. that PISSED me off!!!!
apart from all the bugs it was still a good game, but a little short.. and then there was no fantastic ending.. did anyone else think that?
its the only game ive ever played to the finish too.
