Can anyone refer me to a good DHTML nav website? I'm looking for an verticle nav with sub menus intergerated. Thanks in advance.

nice site and i do like the nav, but i'm looking for one that's stacked vertically. Kind of like www.gis.com, I'd use their's but it crashes on Safari / Mac. Thanks for your help in advance.

because most dhtml is invalid, non-compliant and not cross browser. depending on the browser it can cause serious problems.
the youngpub menu can be altered, if i remember correctly to be either horizontal or vertical. and, as far as any errors on his site...i didn't get any (the js console doesn't show any errors).
have you downloaded it and tried to change it?

hhmmm...thanks mrichard, but not what I'm exactly looking for. I was able to find something at DHTMLcentral using the slidemenu2 , only issue is having the sub nav stay down when it goes to it destination page. So I'm still on my hunt, thanks tho'. Cool site lot of good info...

Maybe you could use DIV layers that show and hide instead of changing pages. This might let you have the dropdown menu stay open. Not sure exactly how you'd do this but the concept sounds good.
