Hello.
Is it possible to control the look of a dropdown with CSS?i'm fiddling with the {select} style and it's bugging me now.
it looks horrid.
input boxes, textareas - all hunky dory - nice, single pixel outlines. select - boggin.

Hey..
It's a browser issue more than likely. CSS on dropdowns seem to work ok on IE6 on PC...but not much else, in my experience.
What browser/platform are you using?

i'm using ie6 win2k.could you point me at an example of something you've done?

As far as I know you can colntrol the background color and text color / font in IE6 and possibly Mozilla / Firebird. Safari and IE5 mac give you no control whatsoever over drop downs. In fact safari gives you no control over any form elements which imo is a step back and very bad.
