An old metalhead friend of mine had an extra ticket for last night's concert here in L.A.
Not a big fan anymore, but must say, the boys still rock.My best Howard Dean impersonation:

yeah Powerslave was the last album I liked.....
still wouldn't mind seeing the show, got to check out motorhead a year ago, that was a trip down the leather clad days

Me too. I lost touch.
Listening to some early Maiden now. Sounds almost punk.
Usta love Motorhead. Lemmy is a metal god.

one of my talents (there is too many to list) is that with any half-assed guitar, I can sit down in front of you and play the entire Piece of Mind album, note for note, solos et al...
Haven't pulled that out that talent in about a year..... going to plug in the gibson..

it was alot of fun.

That's crazy, Brundle. Consider a tribute band if the design thing ever falls apart. Haha.

:D
- brundlefly0
by the time I got into "back patches"...
they were more along the lines of SNFU, Bad Religion, TSOL, Dead Kennedys and the like.

but the metal heads liked me and my punkerdom as I could play all there fave tunes....

Iron Maiden was the music that changed my life.
I still remember the first time I heard number of the beast. I was hanging out with the older (13 or 14) kids in the neighborhood in the garage working on bmx bikes. The guys were sniffing airplane glue but I was only 9 so I was too scared to do drugs...
hearing that shit inspired a whole new level of evilness.
