looking for some input on a paper choice for an ID package i am building right now
want to move away from the workhorse families i normally use, i.e. Classic Crest, Starwhite, and explore some new, high-performing options
i am specifically looking for a natural white vellum or smooth with some teeth to it - i would like it to also be available in 130 lb for the cards
thanks!

i used Gilbert Gil-Clear for my rŽsumŽs and it's dope. I forget what stock it is, but it's like a 40% opaque vellum, you can see shapes and colors but not too much else. I forget what stock it is though... lemme check. it's 40lb but stiff as hell. you can't bend it, it'll crack.
that shit is dope. either that or go to an EXPDX store and grab a shitload of samples to work with.
much luck

I agree, French is a strong solution, though often limited in weights. some nice chunky sheets though, in the white family.
Mohawk would be my suggestion, great stock, good range. Quality, and worth it.
Also, Smart papers have an interesting line, limited as well in weights, but some very interesting stocks.
