my itunes music library is on my computer at work : (
last day at work today...and I want to get itunes set up on my computer at home - so how do I get everything *off* my iPod and onto my iTunes at home?

you can use ephpod or just go into your ipod from my computer and drag them into itunes manually.
all your mp3s are tagged anyway so it doesn't matter what the file name is.

on my 2nd gen ipod you can't just go into the ipod and drag the songs from it.
what i usually do is copy the mp3 files to my ipod (NOT in iTunes), then put them where i want them.
You might have to delete you library from your iPod if you don't have the space.

this is the best program for the job:
http://www.scifihifi.com/podwork…podworks. i have my work & home iTunes synced up with no problem.
the demo worked ok, but since i had a mass of songs, i coughed up the 8 seashells to buy it.

just copy your itunes music folder onto your ipod as though you using it as a firewire drive.
take it home, put it on your mac, update itunes, update your ipod.

double click the ipod icon, go to "tools" -> "folder options". Click the view tab, click "show hidden files and folders". Than you can hunt around the ipod HD for the music folder and drag them out.
P.S. F apple
