the way i see it, there were two british institutions on the line - one has a head who under no circumstances will ever admit he is wrong (guess who?), and the other is prepared to resign for the good of the people he is meant to be leading.

I used to have a lot of time for blair...gave him teh benefit of the doubt...always thought he was doing best for the UK...now I get the distinct feeling he is jsut as bent as Bush...and even more crafty and decieving.
If anyone was going to resign it should have been him.
Given the choice between a gvt that LIED to its people about WMD's and then went to war, or an independent media house who was just trying to get to the truth...well...it doesn;t take much to figure out exactly what's gone on does it.
