I don't know - why not ask 90% of the population :P
- brundlefly0
you mean
*evil* penguin
- brundlefly0
population of what?
the world? I am sure that 90% of the world doesn't use a computer.

Only stupid people get fucked over by stuff like this.

ive never had any probs with virus's and ive been using macs for bout 10 years
- toastie0
my penguin is not evil, it's opensource and very nice looking.
- Jnr_Madison0
Some pople would call using a Mac for ten years 'a virus' :)
- brundlefly0
there was a few with os9 (viruses)
but they were all like little weird things on your desktop for fun...
since unix nada, zip, zilch
- blackspade0
Raa!
some might, not sure who, but some.
- Mick0
Yeh - well u know what I mean
- brundlefly0
I am 90% sure I don't

there's a reason why the dont make antiviruses for linux. and that's the reason why im using it right now ;)
- Mick0
Who makes up the names of these viruses? Sounds more fun than making up tornado or hurricane names.
- mitsu0
let's see... i'm behind a firewall and have norton fully updated...
no problems here.
i say pish posh to the either-or'ers. what's wrong with having all three? (win, mac,+*nix)
- gabriel_pc0
seriously, you need to not only download the attachment, but then execute it in order to get the virus, and then, if you have no anti-virus software running, you'll be infected. If you're dumb enough to match all of those criteria, then you deserve the virus.
Nearly all viruses are easily prevented. I blame stupidity for 99% of all virus related problems.

" I blame stupidity for 99% of all virus related problems."
also, having illlegal versions of win os doesn't help matters.. especially since you can't even patch up to sp1...

somebody should make a virus that takes Unix/Linux distributions, corrupts them, then re-distributes them...
oh wait, they have. It's called Mac OS X.
j/k ;)
- toastie0
haha, nice one, fate :P damn maccies got a terminal console and there they go waving their Unix flags.

Nothing against Mac or Linux, but my hosting company blocked that virus, and even if it hadn't the security measures I have would have easily stopped it. So personally, this Windows user lives virii free.
