which Laptop?

Hello everyone... I was hoping someone could help me out here. I need to get a laptop for 'on-the-go' graphics work for a commute I'll be undertaking. Which laptops do you guys recommend (MAC and PC). I also need something that will connect easy to the internet on the road. Can someone shed some light on this?

why in the hell are you guys recommending mac without any thought? I can't count how many threads there have been about your ibooks falling apart, or losing all their paint, or the screen getting severely damaged because it rubs against the keyboard when it's closed. it sounds to me like it's not the wisest investment.

Go with either one you're use to work on.
But for client presentations, nothing says: "I know what I am doing and you do not; because you are not familiar with the interface - hell, even the looks of the machine seems like it was made for a designer and not a engineer" like the titanium-mac does.

btw, that's a 17.1" screen, 3 ghz processor, dvd-rw, 60 gig hard drive, 512mb ram, for under $2k.
