I just got my wisdom teeth out yesterday. It doesn't hurt really at all. I've hardly been eating anything and it doesn't bother me much. I'm already starting to lose weight (I usually eat like a madman).
The only bad thing is: I want to PARTY!!
Anyone else have this shit done? What were your experiences? How long did you guys wait to drink beer, blaze it up, whatever?
I afraid of getting a dry socket.

I also feel more energy like I want out exercise and dont feel so lazy.
I think it's because I'm not super full like usual.
The Vicodin could make you not care about food too. I don't know.

i might get mine taken out too ;P

mine made me really really sick because i was allergic to the medicine to put me under... so when i woke up.. the allergic reaction made me vomit for a week. i lost 20 pounds and was like weighing in on the 99lb mark.
it was pretty bad. i couldnt do anything. youre lucky.
dont drink too much with the vicodin unless you want to get high.

My first dentist told me I had to go into to hospital to get them removed (didn't come through properly). I wasn't convinced so got a second opinion and they said they were fine. Never had any problems.

even though you might not feel pain (mostly because youre used to it).. it may be the cause of migrains, headaches, sinus and jaw pain from time to time.
when i got mine removed (they were impacted but didnt really hurt.. but i was getting braces and they didnt want them to move my teeth eventually).. my migrains were dramatically reduced. now i only get them acouple times a year... so there ya go. thank about that.

hmm teeth no, I had a rather major operation when I was about 17, heavy chest op, was in hosp for about nearly 3 weeks... managed to 'escape' earlier than I should have, my first night out and I did 2 white lightnings and a nose full of poppers, nearly killed me, seriously, laughing too much is really bad for you when you have about 24 staples in your chest and every time you laugh you can feel your chest 'creak'... heheh I've been such a dick over the years but I'd never change a thing :)

also.. if you believe in pressure points.. your impacted wisdom teeth can also cause pain in other parts of your body.. even though you dont feel pain in your mouth. most people are built not to have enough room for those teeth.. and yet they still come in. i wonder how long it will take for us to evolve so they just go away.

I think its just plain silly not to believe in pressure points. don't you reckon?
- shellie0
some people think that stuff is a bunch of fooey..
i completely believe in pressure points.

I have actually managed to attain the ability of massaging my own presssure points... not quite the same but I'm pretty good....thats what comes of becoming single I guess...

I had 2 wisdom teeth taken out by an oral surgeon, took Vicadin and lost my appetite. My cheeks were so big and puffy for like a week and I felt crappy the entire time. I didn't do anything but stay in bed the entire weekend after the surgery. The Monday after, I forced myself to eat breakfast since it didn't seem right to go to work on an empty stomach -- and I threw up on my way to work. Called the nurse later that day and she said stick to the over the counter pain killers since some people have a bad reaction to Vicadin.
The only good that came out of this was losing like 10 pounds.

and you learnt something about painkillers... I like painkiller knowledge, especially from a reliable source,

Funnily enough I do have problems with headaches, sinus and jaw pain. I grind my teeth when I'm asleep too which really doesn't help. Sometimes wake up in agony, should have got that sorted when I was younger.
Thankfully my migraines stopped when I was about 23 (when I stopped drinking IRN BRU funnily enough). It was the going blind bit that really used to get to me. All I could do was pop a few dihydrocodeine and then just try and get to sleep before the sickness and real headache kicked in. Oh those were the days!

ouch Jnr, you cant beat a few diazepame to beat any type of pain.. or any type of anything actually.. I (dont) remember me and some mates doing about 20 each plus loads of lagers, great night, funny though, two of my mates were in bed for over 2 days after... literally, one of them slept solid for about 20 hrs solid hahaha!

heheh. morphine is good. i had loads of the stuff when i had my appendix out. owwww. I could do with some of that shit to sort out my migraines. They hurt me, owch. Hey Rasko, I'll ummm massage your pressure points for you ;)
