Search engine dislike

  Something needs to change with the way that search engines rank sites.
  I didn't know the site name for Aldo shoes (it's not aldo.com, that's some engineering company) so naturally I searched google for the following:
  Aldo Shoes
  Aldo
  Aldo shoe website
  Aldo shoes official site
  shoes Aldo

  And it's page after page of links to horrible html sites of middle-men shoe dealers and locators.

  And, of course, some of the blame should lie with Aldo for their page not being able to rank high.
  I just wish that search engines would institute a #1 placement of the official site for a domain name/company.
