PC render farm

I have two dell XPS systems I would like to hook up together to make a render farm. I'm using AE 6.0 can anyone point me to a tutorial on how this can be done.

yeah I got two computers for the price of one. now I need to hook them up togather. All google has found was mac stuff not PC how to.

may I inquire to how you got 2 dells for the price of one? Because to me, you seem to be pulling a derek.

what is a derek? Plus I'm still working for a PC tutorial .. every thing is MAC

I have them at my desk at work. I live in austin an work at dell so I just grab two from a lab and testing them to see if they are worth buying for doing AE stuff with.
I don't think I'm doing this render farm thing right? it's not faster when I hook them both up..

you can just use a network rendering program like Smedge or Butterfly, RenderKat, etc. they're good for 3D programs but im sure they would worok fine on AE.
also, try this:
http://www.highend3d.com/tools/most of these programs have licenses for one server and one client so if you have 2 computers, it works out fine.....

yeah AE has it own build into it. I'm messing around with it now but it doesn't seam to find the other system that I have networked it too. I must be missing a step
