OS 10.2.8 HOOPED!

Hey. Does anyone know what would cause os 10.2.8 to have "An unexpected error occured" error come up when i try and launch Any application with the exception of software update and safari says " error loading bookmarks" then crashes after 10 minutes.
HELP.
Somthing to solve problem?

Make a new user account and scrap your old one. Just make sure you don't lose any files in the process.

I already did create a new user account, and with it came all the same problems. Every program crashing constantly. Should i just reinstall OS X ?
I noticed the apple support site is rather un-helpfull.

same thing happened to my mate... she had to do a software restore.

10.2.8 is wack. i took it as a good opportunity to reinstall, and i was drunk, so..
