or live there?
I am off on me hols to barcelona in a couple of month time and i want to go to the camp nou for a game. It is a pretty cool game on while i am there - Real Sociedad.
Anyone got any tips on how to get tickets without paying a tourist price- i don't fancy paying £60 +
can you go up a few days before the game? any good websites?
anyone been to a game there before?

yeah, you can go on the night and pick up tickets from the ground, for the top terraces, (cheapest seats!).
Still get a great view and all the atmosphere of the local fans.
If my memory serves me right it was only about a tenner.

oh yeah , i forgot you went.
the tourist places on line are throwing up some stupid prices

Barcelona has far more than sports to offer. I think it Sacreligeous to go there and not have Gaudi, the Gothic Cathedral, and museums at the top of your list. lol

if you search this MySQL dB you will find a few very good threads on Bercelona. I've been twice, but there was much said in those threads. :)

i am going for two weeks so i obviously aren't thinking about just going to see a game. i have all sorts i want to do and see while i am there. having said that i love football and want to see a game but so far i have only found tour operators online who slap an extra £20-£30 for the privilage of buying through them.

I've been to a few games at nou camp while I was there. The best approach I found was to get tickets at the ground, from the clerk at the window and not a chancer on the street, he'll fleece you.
If it's an important game it might be tricky... such as Barca v's Real Madrid, forget it. If you have friends there, ask them to put the word out to their spanish friends, otherwise be prepared to pay through the nose... but it's worth it for the view if nothing else...
Also, if you can't see a game, take the tour during the day... you get to hang out in the stadium pretty much on your own, and walk through the museum whcih has a replica of the European Cup that Cruyf (sp?) got them (didn't he?).
Enjoy! G.

cool, exactly what i needed to know. sorry to bug about barcelona when so many other threads have been there; but this was a pretty specific question.
