It's come to it. I've just had a clients' Marketing Guy on the blower telling me we can't charge for an online Report and Accounts because we "used dreamweaver".
The cunt seems to think I should have coded a 42 page document by hand, or converted from "Word" which is more "professional"...
How can I make him die?

uhm.... well.. You need to sit down with him, and have a chat about how pages are built today. Show him how you use DW to code the base of your pages, and then you go through them by hand and fix / clean up the code. Then, show him some HTML generated by Word. I think he will get the picture. Just because you used dreamweaver, doesn't mean you don't know what your doing...

if you haven't given the work to him, don't hand it over. Perhaps suggest he does it himself in future if it's so easy.
Maybe ask if when a doctor uses a sthsoscope to listen to your heart they're cheating because he should be using his ear. It's a tool to make your life easier, like a spanner or anything.I reckon you can think of a better explanation, but something along those lines.

how did he find out you used DW?
i use a mix of BBedit and DW.. and you can't tell where it's made in.. it is totally not the clients business..
it is about a well-coded end result.
oh, and try to avoid MM-js like the plague.
