On the topic of car window stickers, I went to a local vinyl sticker cutter and gave them EPS renderings of the stickers I wanted printed out. Since it was a two-colour job, they had to cut two stickers, so placing them was difficult and the price was around 50 bucks Canadian. The place moved though, and it's been so long that I've forgotten their name. Just look up your local viny sticker cutters

adhesive labels or static cling labels are what you need for windows
- fifty500
hmm... well, from my experience, the vinyl cutter place did an excellent job. Of course the stuff had adhesive backing on it, and was super-easy to apply. They specialized in making stickers that went on vehicles such as trucks and boats, so they're really durable. My stickers have been on my windshield for like 3 years now and there's absolutely no damage (except for the places where I tried to remove it)
I wouldn't go the way of static cling labels because they would easily peel off.
