when it loaded first it looked really good, nice and clean, then that banner at the bottom loaded in and the background loaded and it didnt look so good. the background is to heavy and the banner makes it look a bit cheap, without those it would be very nice

hmm interesting, so do you reckon it would be better to have no background? i.e. white? or just a much lighter color?

thats odd ible..is anyone else having that problem? it's on mediatemple so i cant imagine it couldnt handle the load..

i think just white might look good, or lighter. it distracts from the work. and the banner, id drop it, it looks like youer advertising a different website

Good for what your doing. Only suggestions are to take off the banner (like the others said) as it looks cheap, tone down the lines in the bg - it takes away from the work, and lastly - put a header for the section youre in. Its a good reminder and an IA deal for usability.

k i see what y'all mean about the banner..i had slapped that up there just to advertise this thing i hadnt had a chance to make a page for yet.
i've also lightened up the background..

In my personal opinion I would prefer to see screen shots of the websites when I click on their names rather than the six little tiles. I know they encourage you to click through and look at the real things, but the print examples look so good.

Just make the web thumbnails bigger. Also I'm not a big fan of the pattern you have going on those random loading photos. I think it would look better with out them. It works best on the image of the pool though.
I like your logotype. Positioning and usability is great. nice print stuff. I didn't check many of the site, just cause the thumbs didn't really make me want to go.
