sorry to offend you rasko..i was just being an arrogant new york writer. it just seems that alot of the derivative shit that comes out and is soooo popular and trendy these days (especially on the web) was done and finished in the early nineties in NY (and in a full contact-illegal fashion).
-nonetheless- respect to those who earn it all over the world

you could but i was looking for a visual comparison.
I play my music too loud and complain in the summer when they have a festival outside my building and i get woken at 9am on a sunday by a line dancing hoe down - fucking hypocrite -

Designed by George Hersee and featuring his daughter Carole Hersee, it made its first appearance on BBC2 in 1967.
Not really any more, I used to but these days I find tagging a little bit pointless and somewhat ugly, although a good tag is a beautiful thing, its just there are too many toys that make it all look shit... tagging is an eyesore generally.
The last piece I did was back in the summer on a drunken expedition, me and a friend painted 3 containers... it was a lot messy, had been drinking all day and had no outline prepared.

no James you didn't and you didn't say graf its wrong either: but *me getting on high horse - billboards are as annoying to me as "grafitti" is to the average shmoe who believes all graf is wrong.
- rasko40
f0rz, thats utter crap, I wonder how much graff you have seen from around the world if thats your opinion.. seems more like a cheesy unthoughtout soundbyte to me
bleh
- JamesEngage0
I don't remember saying 'hoorah for billboards'?
- jox0
either way it's vandalism done by stupid fucks.
I say kill them all.

but back on topic - what kind of a case for compensation do you reckon you'd have in court if your illegal work was copied and sold through legal commercial channels.

graffiti outside of NYC is insignificant. grafftit inside NYC is dead.

heh, - that girl was used as a test screen on UK TV in the 70's

Bill board advertising is an equally unsolicited assault on the public eye and more damaging to the collective psyche IMHO.
