i dunno about thrush!, i have a cat called tarquin and he seems pretty happy with it, but we used to have a cat called 'cheeky' - she was evil and cruel and i think she was lashing out at the world for having such a shit name. Later we renamed her pussolini but that just seemed to agitate her more, in the end we just said 'hey you' and she calmed down a little. My Suggestion:
