The layout is good, i think the drop shadow is to strong, and the black text on the beige background is a bit muddy

yeah it's suppose to resemble a lift tickt, so the black txt and the beige is is the "disclaimer box"

Im not sure on the news font it really clashes with the font on the top which i assume may be the logo?

yeah I was thinking about dirty'n up the edges make'n it more ratty, and then adding a clip

i don't think the lift ticket look is paying off. push it. right now, the yellow bar just looks out of place. if this is actual size, maybe think about adding the metal hanger on the lift ticket.
