"volgend week"
if that is belgian, it's no good dutch.
maybe too much rounded corners everywhere.
and what is the difference between the purple and the yellow boxes, from an editorial point of view?

Yeah I kinda agree to many round corners, I say keep some, just minimize....maybe make the orange section one large block, and the red section as well, but leave the purple

like the use of the rounded tiled images but i agree with stewart. It has too many rounded corners over the page.
In terms of usability i am not sure there is enough contrast between the orange and red backgrounds with the black text. It is kinda hard to read.
change yellow button colour... i personally think it doesn't sit well on your page

nice personal site Greg :)

The colors don't work at all. There are way too many, and they're too dark.
I would change to a white background, loose all the colors so it's just b/w and then re-do all colors so the match.
Also, there are too many boxes. Try to have just the one to the left (deze week.. etc), and just let the rest of the content flow without borders at all.
It's like the feeling the top pic gives me is suddenly gone the minute I look down. It just doesn't go well together.

do you have to use a sort of Corporate Identity?
because the typeface used for buttons and titles is not exiting...
but it is colorful, and that is nice.

I think there are to many rounded corners. And I would ditch some of the imagery.
I would recommend going for a more minamalist feel with sublte imagery.

its looks fresh, but agree wit hall the above, also maybe too many images, why not drop one big image behind all the box maskes?

Without seeing the thumbnail on the left I immediatly thought of the 'libelle magazine'.
So if it's gonna be their site.. job well done.
If not I'd consider a different approach.
