Halo was a great game i can't wait until Halo 2 comes out so my grandkids can play it on their xbox 12 xbox has half the games as ps2 and bill gates wants fifty for it but hey its worth it if you want to play grabed by the goulies

why would xbox live ever be compatible with ps2? They're competitors. And how is giving money to microsoft any worse than giving money to sony? Just my thoughts.

Yeah, you have to buy a remote for $25 to watch dvds on xbox. But you don't have to buy any $25 memory cards cause it has a built in hard drive. Also I really want to pay $30 for a multitap so I can play PS2's lack of 4 players games.

Also you can mod your xbox and watch/listen to all media files, play every snes/gen/nes/mame game there is at perfect framerates. All stored on the hdd. :)

the game cube is being discontinued, according to the geeks at the local EB Games shop.
Xbox is a fantastic machine, and the games are more PC games, than arcade-esq Game Cube.
Knights of the Old republic is a grande game.

I've owned a cube and an xbox and overall I like the xbox more primarily because of the online play. You can't go wrong with either though, as they both have great games.
If you get the xbox I would reccomend you get ESPN NHL Hockey instead of nhl 2004 as it includes online play, and blows away EA games in my opinion.

we play 12 player halo every day at my office for lunch. I can honestly say I bought my xbox originally just for halo. Tony Hawk 4 is awesome, hitman 2 is pretty cool, plus they've both been released as platinum games so you can get them for $20.
