what's happening with my definitions of I.E? It seems that it keeps php files somewhere at the cache, and as I clear all the temp files after re-editing the php files at the server, it keeps brigging back the old php files.
this is not happening with html, css or images.. what should I do to see in my computer the updated php files??
- kodap0
they only come up updated when I put the files in some other folder at the server and acess them through browser... I'm not willing to do this everytime I change any php.. but I have to do it to keep the track of my changes..
oh God, I hate programming!

Is IE set-up to check for new versions of page using the 'automatically' or 'everytime I start IE' setting???
- kodap0
where can I check that?
- kodap0
oh... it checks automaticaly
- Jnr_Madison0
Change it to 'everytime I start IE' and see if that works.

I checked "everytime I visit the page". it worked so far,

better way.
in the beggining of the php files
[before anything else] write://begin php code
header("Expires: 0");
header("Last-Modified: " . gmdate("D, d M Y H:i:s") . " GMT");
header("cache-control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate");
header("Pragma: no-cache");
//end php code

Yep, the no-cache route is better.
