  does it only work with I Chat or can you use it for all your cam needs and if so is it still as fast?

  yeah you can use it to record to your harddrive using Quicktime Broatcaster or iRecordNow and you can use it on other things like http://www.blather.org/peep .

  also the new iMovie will be able to import movies from iSight.

  But you cant download it for some reason. You will have to buy imovie or steal it.
